When I was in college, my fraternity would always get a tree and all the ornaments were beer cans, that pic reminds me of that.

Tom the tree had a good life. He brought joy to the Jenkins family all through the holiday season, decorated in the finest tinsel, lighting, and ornaments. Then one day Mr. Jenkins left his beer sitting to close to Tom. Tom was famished, having not been given any water for a few days. Tom the tree knew drinking a beer would be wrong, but he couldn’t resist the urge.

That started Tom’s downfall. Tom found the taste of beer to be far better than plain old water. He was caught raiding Mr. Jenkins’ fridge of more beer and was kicked out of the house. Tom the tree wandered the streets, searching for his next beer as he had become dependent on it.

Eventually Tom the tree ended up at a race track where there was lots of beer. He couldn’t control himself. Tom had become an alcoholic tree. When the authorities found Tom, he was so drunk that he made himself into a beercan Christmas tree. After this photo was taken, Tom was hauled to tree jail and sentenced to death by hacksaw.

Don’t be like Tom the tree.
